There is nothing like getting one-on-one help with your camera. We'll show you the best settings for landscape photography so that you can focus on taking awesome images, without the guesswork.

This two hour session will help you learn and practice skills that will be very helpful as you explore Glacier National Park and beyond.

CAMERA LESSON DETAILS:

  • Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, we work with all experience levels. We will design each session around your individual interests, but here are some commonly covered topics:

    • Getting the highest image quality

    • Working with focus settings to create sharp images

    • Adjusting exposure & using a histogram

    • Using your tripod

    • Getting the most from your lenses

    • Using aperture & shutter speed for creative effects

    • Using polarizing filters

  • We offer camera lessons year round. These sessions typically occur at one of the parks near downtown Whitefish. These natural areas provide a nice place to practice various camera techniques. Alternate locations available upon request.

  • $150 for one or two people. Two hours of one-on-one camera practice with a professional photographer and experienced instructor.

    Small group workshops are also available. Please get in touch if you’d like to set something up.

  • All you need for this session is your camera and any other gear you would like to practice with, such as lenses, filters, or a tripod.

    Be sure to bring a fully charged camera battery as well.
